Dandelion Oil- Dandelion inhibits oxidation of skin cells when those cells are exposed to UV rays
Carrot Seed Oil- This cold pressed carrot seed oil contains umbelliferone, a compound that absorbs UVB light and is commonly used in sunscreens. It's also rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and carotenoids, which can help protect skin from sun damage and promote an even skin tone
Raspberry Seed oil- excellent for sensitive skin and is deeply nourishing and conditioning. Raspberry Seed Oil may act as a broad-spectrum UV-A and UV-B shield. The composition of omega 3 and 6 fatty acids has been shown to reduce the effects of oxidative stress in skin. It is emollient, lubricating, and conditioning and so creates a lipid barrier providing protection to the skin and moisture retention for the skin. Ideal for dry, tired, mature and damaged skin
Calendula-also known as Marigold, Calendula can protect the skin from the sun's harmful UV rays, which can help prevent sunburn, tanning, hyperpigmentation, and premature aging. Calendula flower extract contains antioxidants that can help tighten and even out the skin, and promote nourishment and repair. Its anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe red or inflamed skin.

With Zinc Option- With our Sun elixir you can have a choice of added Zinc. the zinc we have used is -Non Nano which means it is larger than 100nm and therefore won't penetrate your skin. Besides it being the safest option of UV filter to use for human health, it has also been shown to be the safest option for marine life and coral reefs, since Zinc Oxide in its Non-Nano form has been shown not to harm marine wildlife. Zinc Oxide offers natural broad-spectrum protection from UVA and UVB rays, Zinc Oxide provides great soothing effects for use in many skin preparations. It physically works to provide 28 times the skins natural protections against harmful UVA & UVB rays.
*We have excluded nasty emulsifiers in the Dandelion Sun Elixir with Zinc*, so shake the bottle before each use and disperse the Zinc Oxide yourself, basically give it a good shake before each use!
