Nettle Tea / Skin Detox tea
Stinging nettle is a member of the mint family, known for its stinging hairs that deliver a formic acid bite to those who touches the fresh plant. Luckily, the formic acid dissipates when dried.
Stinging Nettle has natural astringent properties; astringents are great for treating skin issues such as greasy skin, dry, itchy and inflamed skin due to insect bites, chicken pox, and even eczema. because of its nourishing, diuretic and anti-inflammatory properties, nettle tea is a natural beautifier to skin and hair.
Our Nettles are free of any additives, preservatives or flavours - a 100% natural product. The dandelion roots come from the air-clean Yorkshire Dales as well as grown on our very own allotment, where they are also handpicked and dried by us.
For acne prone or dull, congested skin, we would suggest drinking three to four cups of nettle tea a day for two weeks. After two weeks, take a week off drinking it and see how your skin looks and feels before resuming.
A real Beau-Tea !
